This is how it is in Italy. Coffee is the fabric of their life and underpins the people’s passion for this cultural norm.

What our customers have to say...

Had the Italian toastie - the bread was homemade and it shows, it was crispy, comforting and delicious! Coffee was also excellent. Lovely service. Great little local!

Harrison

Beautiful coffee, double espresso, rich full bodied without the bitterness you might find from lesser baristas! Had a great chat with the team. If you haven’t tried it make sure you do! Would love to see some more signage to make this cafe a little more obvious as people might be missing it!

Jeremy

Lovely place - was warmly welcomed as we entered the shop. Coffee and donuts were fantastic.

Tan

An absolute little delight in the centre of Carnegie. Such a friendly gentleman, amazing coffee, great handmade sweets. Makes it even better that my bus stop is right out the front, so always run in and grab a coffee to go on my runs.

Adrian

Simply the best biscotti I've ever had - I don't live nearby, but now I'll be visiting every weekend to treat myself :)

Winter

Very nice coffee and the best biscottis!!! The gentleman is very friendly and welcoming! Very nice little place to visit around the area!

Claire

Great coffee flavour, friendly service, and homemade Italian treats! Really great spot near the train and just a perfect coffee fix.

Elette

A good Italian style coffee shop. Donuts so good, coffee is Italian style ( a bit stronger than common one), friendly service.

Ryoyu

The absolute sweetest owner, literally the best coffee I’ve had in a long time!! So excited to make this my regular spot

Nadia

Amazing coffee! The beautiful aroma hits me every time I’m at the Homeplus and Homemaker centre at Holmesglen and I cannot resist stopping to buy one. My kids love the donuts too! grazie!

REPRESENTING THE MARKET AT THE WILLIAM ANGLISS OPEN DAY

As a successful alumni, William Angliss reached out to Eugenio to see if he could provide them with 10kg of Nonna's homemade biscotti for their Open Day event.

Eugenio is one of the Market's many dedicated coffee merchants, operating out of his 3-wheeler coffee van under the sheds.

Before trading at the Market, Eugenio studied a Diploma of Hospitality Management at William Angliss to help improve his English. While studying, he was approached to contribute to the William Angliss Barista Book and star in their coffee training videos, used in classes nationally.

With 42 years of barista experience, he has worked as a coffee trainer as well as running his own hospitality ventures, and continues to be an active member of the William Angliss community.
